Maybe it's just because I live in Canada...but I have to wear big boots like that all winter. Last thing I want to do is put furry boots on with a costume when I'm in the West Indies. I really prefer the look of decorated wellingtons or cowboy boots to full out winter boots. Just cause I can't help but imagine the foot stink afterwards!
